What is this?

In order to use the SourceGear Customer Service Portal, you need to specify your email address and validate it. It's somewhat like a login, except easier.

Login? But I don't have an account.

That's okay. Anyone with an email address can "login" here.

Login? Where do I enter my password?

You don't. There is no password. When you enter your email address in the box above, we will send you an email message containing a link. Click on that link to validate your email address. This method allows us to verify that you entered your email address correctly and that the email address you entered is in fact yours. And you don't have YAPTR (Yet Another Password To Remember).

How long will I be logged in?

To keep track of your session, a cookie will be stored on your computer. The session (and the cookie) are valid for 360 days from the day you login. Any time you return here during those 360 days, you will not have to re-authenticate yourself.

What are you going to do with my email address?

Short answer: We might send you email, but you can tell us not to. We will never sell or give your email address to another organization. For a longer answer, see our privacy policy.

How do I logout?

If you want to end your session, you can do so at any time. After you login, you will see a "Logout" link in the upper-right corner of every page.
